Of Life And Such

Life was quite simple when i was a kid.
All i wanted was that Voltron toy.
I slept early every night, 9pm on the dot.
Woke up early on Saturdays to watch cartoons.
I didn't worry about money or a job.
I didn't have to keep looking over my shoulder.
I didn't have to always watch other people's backs.
I didn't have so many bruises and scars.
I use to think everything was great.
Nothing could go wrong.
I was wrong.
