Used the projector to help me.
As well as redefine my handstyle.

Youngbloods
A two piece series I am working on.
Nothing but hard for ye old Eleven.
Here is a short outline and the sketches.

The Gist:

Gangs.
A long-time problem that has lingered in all areas of the world.
What is shocking but true, is their influence on the youth.

There has been a long awareness of gang activity in youths but
these have only been noticed in the media as of now.

This work represents the on going conflicts between young gang members.
The idea is that their similarities reflect their existence as human beings
sharing the same world, the same air, the same earth. It comments on our ties
to each other; brother to brother.

It does not shine a light of negativity over the subject,
nor does it glorify the idea. This work is a representation of the topic;
what you take away from it makes the work.

Finished my second pyramid dude as well.

Went out the yesterday night.

There's somehting about black and white photography that just appeals more to me.
It's grittier, it's honest, it's a big fuck you and a window into a desaturated life.
It's simple, complicated, conflicting and beautiful.
Besides that, it saves money on printing.
